Surah Al-Qiyamah (القيامة) — The Resurrection
Surah Al-Qiyamah is chapter 75 of the Holy Quran. It has 40 verses and was revealed in Makkah. Read it below with Arabic text and Saheeh International English translation, with audio recitation available in the reader.
لَآ أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ
75:1. I swear by the Day of Resurrection
وَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلنَّفْسِ ٱللَّوَّامَةِ
75:2. And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection].
أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ أَلَّن نَّجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُۥ
75:3. Does man think that We will not assemble his bones?
بَلَىٰ قَـٰدِرِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّسَوِّىَ بَنَانَهُۥ
75:4. Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips.
بَلْ يُرِيدُ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُۥ
75:5. But man desires to continue in sin.
يَسْـَٔلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ
75:6. He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?"
فَإِذَا بَرِقَ ٱلْبَصَرُ
75:7. So when vision is dazzled.
