Surah Az-Zukhruf (الزخرف) — The Ornaments of Gold

حمٓ

43:1. Ḥā, Meem.

وَٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ

43:2. By the clear Book,

إِنَّا جَعَلْنَـٰهُ قُرْءَٰنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ

43:3. Indeed, We have made it an Arabic Qur’ān that you might understand.

وَإِنَّهُۥ فِىٓ أُمِّ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ لَدَيْنَا لَعَلِىٌّ حَكِيمٌ

43:4. And indeed it is, in the Mother of the Book with Us, exalted and full of wisdom.

أَفَنَضْرِبُ عَنكُمُ ٱلذِّكْرَ صَفْحًا أَن كُنتُمْ قَوْمًا مُّسْرِفِينَ

43:5. Then should We turn the message away, disregarding you, because you are a transgressing people?

وَكَمْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن نَّبِىٍّ فِى ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

43:6. And how many a prophet We sent among the former peoples,

وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن نَّبِىٍّ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ

43:7. But there would not come to them a prophet except that they used to ridicule him.
