Surah Al-'Adiyat (العاديات) — The Courser

Surah Al-'Adiyat is chapter 100 of the Holy Quran. It has 11 verses and was revealed in Makkah. Read it below with Arabic text and Saheeh International English translation, with audio recitation available in the reader.

وَٱلْعَـٰدِيَـٰتِ ضَبْحًا

100:1. By the racers, panting,

فَٱلْمُورِيَـٰتِ قَدْحًا

100:2. And the producers of sparks [when] striking

فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًا

100:3. And the chargers at dawn,

فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًا

100:4. Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust,

فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا

100:5. Arriving thereby in the center collectively,

إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌ

100:6. Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.

وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ

100:7. And indeed, he is to that a witness.
