Surah At-Tur (الطور) — The Mount
Surah At-Tur is chapter 52 of the Holy Quran. It has 49 verses and was revealed in Makkah. Read it below with Arabic text and Saheeh International English translation, with audio recitation available in the reader.
وَٱلطُّورِ
52:1. By the mount
وَكِتَـٰبٍ مَّسْطُورٍ
52:2. And [by] a Book inscribed
فِى رَقٍّ مَّنشُورٍ
52:3. In parchment spread open
وَٱلْبَيْتِ ٱلْمَعْمُورِ
52:4. And [by] the frequented House
وَٱلسَّقْفِ ٱلْمَرْفُوعِ
52:5. And [by] the ceiling [i.e., heaven] raised high
وَٱلْبَحْرِ ٱلْمَسْجُورِ
52:6. And [by] the sea set on fire,
إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَٰقِعٌ
52:7. Indeed, the punishment of your Lord will occur.
